Volunteers from the organization Mid-Valley Health Care Advocates will hold a discussion about Medicare for All during a session scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The discussion will be held at the south location of First Alternative Co-op, 1007 SW Third St. in Corvallis.
In the discussion, members of Mid-Valley Health Care Advocates, who have long lobbied for a universal health care plan, will discuss why Medicare for All is being touted as a solution to escalating health care costs. The discussion will include information about ways to pay for universal health care and what participants can do to advance the cause in Oregon and nationally.
The event is free, but donations will be welcome.
