Prince Harry: Duke’s hair loss has DOUBLED since Meghan Markle wedding | Daily Star – Daily Star

Fans of the Duke of Sussex fear he is “balding rapidly” and “will be like brother Prince William very soon”.

The so-called Windsor Crown that Harry inherited from dad Prince Charles have been steadily growing in recent years.

But since his marriage to Meghan last May pictures have revealed his hair loss has sped up rapidly.

On his big day at Windsor Castle his thinning hair could hardly be noticed from the front.

He appeared to have a full head of ginger hair and the bald spot could only be seen from the back.

“His baldness accelerating. He will be like William very soon…”

But during recent royal engagements the prince’s bald patch has become clearly visible from the front.

And it hasn’t escaped the eyes of his fans.

Reacting to a picture of Harry and Meghan at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday night, one fan said on Twitter: “Prince Harry seems to being going bald and I’m heartbroken.”

And after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex toured Birkenhead on their first engagement of 2019 another tweeted “Harry’s hair” alongside crying emojis.

Other recent comments on Harry’s fading hair in recent weeks have seen fans even express fears Harry will be bald before he and Meghan’s baby is born in spring.

“I can’t believe how much hair Prince Harry has lost. He is going bald! He looks older than his years because of his sparse scalp and slouchy figure.”

“If the hair on top of his head survives by the time his child is born, I’ll be impressed because those last few strands are struggling.”

Dr Asim Shahmalak from Manchester’s Crown Clinic said: “There has been a significant acceleration of his baldness in the last year and Harry is now losing his hair as rapidly as his brother William.

“If he does not take action now, he faces suffering from advanced male pattern baldness like his brother in his forties and beyond.

“The last year has been wonderful for Harry. While marital happiness does not bring about any hormonal changes which would affect hair loss, research shows that men in settled relationships tend to do less to disguise their baldness.

“It reflects nature and the need to find a partner. Once that goal is achieved there is slightly less incentive to cover up hair loss.”
