CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Local healthcare providers are teaming up to offer free support in the fight against breast cancer.
The Jewish Hospital-Mercy Health Women’s Center is continuing an ongoing survivorship speaker series in January. They are inviting women who want to learn more about risk reduction and recovery to a special program on breast cancer and exercise.
The breast cancer team at Mercy Health says research does now show that fitness can help reduce the risk of breast cancer coming back in the body and may play a role in prevention as well.
The speaker is a breast cancer survivor named Emily Crosby Morgan. She is also a certified cancer exercise specialist.
The talk takes place from 7-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at the hospital’s Women’s Center at 4700 E. Galbraith Road, Suite 100.
There is no charge, but you do need to RSVP by calling Rebecca Ingram at 513-559-7333.
Light refreshments will be served. Click here to learn more.
